The upper Kenai Peninsula is a dry region of the state with less than 2 inches of rainfall a month. However, we advise the use of insect repellent on some of the fly out or hike in excursions

We fillet any fish that you catch on your charter. If you have booked one of our fishing packages then all fishing processing up to 50# per person is usually included and is handled at one of the local professional processors. Your fish will be filleted by us and then you take to the local processor each day, they then portion, vac pack, freeze and box your fish so its ready when you leave. We recommend taking as checked luggage on the plane but if you prefer to ship your fish you can coordinate with processor to do so. Tanner’s Fresh Fish Processing are experts in Alaskan seafood. For an additional charge they can smoke and ship your fish FedEx anywhere in the world.

Yes. The Kenai Peninsula is a large geographic area. There are many rivers, lakes and saltwater areas to fish. Some require only a minute or two drive while others are an hour away. Moreover, there is much to do during the long Alaska days where transportation is a must.
-
Firearms are not necessary for any of your charters. If you venture out on your own, bear spray is your best protection, but in our 20 years of experience, it has never been needed. We do not recommend that you bring guns to Alaska, and please note that they are strictly prohibited on our properties.
