Enjoy a Thrilling Outdoor Experience by Booking our Service for Fly-In Kenai Fishing in Alaska!
Crescent Lake: early July through mid to early August
This is a very scenic flight passing glaciers and mountains in the Alaska Range. You may also see wildlife on this flight, including bear, moose, and whales. The best time for Arctic Char and Lake Trout is early June through September. The peak of the Sockeye salmon run is The first week of July through early to mid August. This lake and river fishing trip uses a skiff to move around, with fishing done from shore or wading. Limit for salmon is 3 fish per day. Morning or afternoon trips available.
Chuitna River: late July through mid to late August
This is a great river for silvers, either on the fly or with spinning gear. Fly to a lake near the remote native village of Tyonek, where a villager will assist us by driving you to the river. Once there you will fish for Silvers. There is some walking involved and chest waders are required (we do not provide chest waders). Silver Salmon limit is 3 pp.
Wolverine Creek/Big River: end of June through the end of August
Just a short flight across Cook Inlet, where you and your guide board an open skiff, then motor around the shore of Big River Lakes near Wolverine Creek. This is an area bears frequent, fishing for salmon. You are on the water for about 5 hours, then fly back to our base in Nikiski.
